Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micky Pavano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pavano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Trash Tongue Talker. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Steiner! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steiner scores with a kick to the body.
Steiner takes a swing at Pavano's ribcage but misses. Pavano half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Pavano drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Micky Pavano has been cut. Steiner throws a head kick that Pavano semi-blocks.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Steiner. Pavano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Steiner misses with a body shot.
Steiner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Steiner slaps away a takedown attempt from Pavano, before circling back to the center of the mat. A nice side step and Steiner releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Steiner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pavano is landing a low percentage of strikes. Steiner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pavano tests Steiner's chin there with a solid looking shot. Steiner swings for the body but Pavano moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pavano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steiner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pavano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Steiner.
Pavano takes a swing at Steiner's ribcage but misses. Pavano throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steiner sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pavano misses with a hook to the body
and Steiner counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pavano with a lazy takedown attempt and Steiner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steiner's guard. Steiner looking for a sweep. Not yet Steiner, not yet. Pavano lands a couple of elbows. Pavano trying to control but Steiner is working from the bottom. Pavano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pavano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Steiner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pavano blocking the ground and pound attempt from Steiner. Steiner prevents Pavano from improving his position. Pavano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pavano moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Steiner lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pavano is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Steiner frees his head nicely. Oh but Pavano has switched to an armbar! Steiner is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahokas swings for the body but Newton moves out of range.
Newton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ahokas was well out of range. Poor timing from Newton. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ahokas. You can see the frustration on Newton's face as Ahokas controls the position. Newton tries to escape but Ahokas is in control. Newton managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ahokas.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ahokas working the ground and pound but Newton is defending the strikes. Newton is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ahokas wants to control but Newton is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Newton can't do much from the bottom here. Newton wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ahokas is working Newton over with some ground and pound from side control. Ahokas throws a strike aimed at the side of Newton's head but Newton avoids it well. Newton wants to stand but Ahokas has his arm trapped. Newton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ahokas keeps working. Newton decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ahokas to his feet. Sloppy strikes from Newton. Those never looked like landing.

Ahokas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ahokas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Newton's head. Ahokas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Newton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ahokas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Newton is trying to stand up here but Ahokas is controlling him well. Ahokas with the ground and pound but Newton uses the opportunity to regain guard. Ahokas wants to control from the top but Newton keeps moving. Ahokas won't allow Newton to get back to his feet. Ahokas looking to sit in guard and control but Newton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Newton wants to get up but he can't break Ahokas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Newton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ahokas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Newton is one step ahead there.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Newton wanted to stand there but Ahokas had control of the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Juha Ahokas will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Newton lands a head shot. Ahokas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Newton manages to avoid it. Ahokas cracks Newton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Cam Newton has been cut. A big right from Newton misses. Ahokas tries to counter with a takedown but Newton is quick to defend against it. Newton throws a hook but Ahokas avoids it easily. Ahokas throws the left hand but Newton avoids the punch easily. Newton avoids the body shot from Ahokas.

Ahokas lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Newton! More strikes land and this one is all over! Ahokas jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

That will keep Susi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! DeBramalo lands a jab to Susi's midsection. Susi doesn't succeed with the takedown and DeBramalo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Susi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from DeBramalo. DeBramalo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Susi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. DeBramalo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltun connects with a good right hand that stumbles Skayias. Skayias circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Koltun misses with a lunging right hand
and Skayias counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Koltun throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koltun moves into range and clinches up with Skayias. Koltun misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Skayias.
Skayias wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Koltun misses with a short punch on the inside. Skayias wants to stall.

Orkidea throws a leg kick that is checked and Dude counters with a straight right hand. Orkidea avoids the head kick by Dude.

Orkidea misses the body punch and Dude counters with a leg kick. Orkidea throws a series of strikes that have Dude backpedaling.

Dude darts in looking for a takedown but Orkidea gets double underhooks and turns Dude into the ropes. Orkidea tried to counter with a leg kick but Dude avoided it. Dude takes a shot right to the bread basket. A chopping leg kick lands by Orkidea. Dude pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Olof Orkidea dominated that round. The cut man is working on Surfer Dude's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Orkidea misses with a looping right. Despite the aggression on Dude's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Orkidea misses with a looping left. Dude let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Orkidea takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Orkidea lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dude has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dude and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. The crowd cheers as Dude lands an impressive looking overhand right. Orkidea doesn't seem phased though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orkidea tries a low kick but Dude avoids it. Orkidea moves into the clinch successfully.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Orkidea throws an elbow but misses. Orkidea creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dude's defenses. Dude blocks a body shot from Orkidea. Orkidea pushes Dude back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dude throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Orkideas head.
Orkidea is rocked! Orkidea misses with an elbow over the top. Oh Orkidea is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dude tries a knee to the head but Orkidea blocks it.

It looks like Christopher Newton has been cut. A lazy left from LeVass finds it's target. Newton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. LeVass scores with a body shot.

Serderov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Grundy is not content to let Serderov control the position.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 19 - 2, fighting out of London, Jon Paul Fish! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish lunges at Manres with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Manres's hand. Fish swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fish gets a clinch. Fish stalling in the clinch but Manres improves position. Manres works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Manres avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manres trying to control the position from guard on top but Fish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Manres working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Manres works over Fish with some ground and pound from guard. Manres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fish swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manres gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manres has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fish to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Manres is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fish pulls down on the head and he's put Manres to sleep! This one is all over!
