The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killa has managed to clinch.
Amander is trying to break the clinch but Killa is controlling him. Killa dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Killa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Amander shoots in but no luck this time. Killa looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Killa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Amander looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Killa decides to stand up. Killa instigates a clinch. Killa is working Amander over against the cage. Killa avoiding damage.
Amander is trying to force a seperation but Killa has the dominant position. Killa has picked Amander up - he's going for a ride! Killa dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Killa landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amander avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Killa. Killa wants to take a breather but Amander is having none of it. Killa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Amander is looking for a sweep. Killa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Killa thows a huge punch but Amander dodges it nicely.
Killa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Amander tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ground and pound from Killa. Killa is figuring out what he wants to do next. Killa prevents Amander from standing back up.
Killa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Amander is looking to control Killa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amander avoid being mounted? Killa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amander keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Killa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Killa moves into full mount! Amander won't be happy about that! Killa lands a big shot there that rocks Amander but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Amander tries to hold on but Killa pushes him away. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Killa punishing his opponent with strikes. Killa lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Amander hang on? Killa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Amander can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Killa scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The referee warns Amander that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amander sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ground and pound from Killa. Killa thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Amander to regain full guard. Amander working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Killa. Killa drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Amander dives on top into guard. Killa is breathing heavily. Amander wants to pass the guard but Killa is keeping the position. Killa has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Amander off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Killa gets a clinch. Killa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Amander tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Killa counters with a three punch combo that has Amander backing up. Amander nods at Killa to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killa lands a nice shot to the body.
Amander doesn't manage to clinch there - Killa circles away.
Killa lands an overhand right. Amander needs to keep his hands up - Killa had a free shot at his head there. Killa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Amander doesn't succeed with the takedown and Killa counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Killa thows a big elbow that misses. Killa stands and steps away. Amander gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Killa throws a right and a left that Amander avoids nicely. Killa scores with a jab. Amander acknowledges it with a nod of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Amander wants to clinch. Left hook, right uppercut from Killa. Amander on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kris Killa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Killa clinches up against the cage. Killa lands a body punch in the clinch. Killa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Killa lands with a right that hurts Amander. Amander looks to clinch but Killa throws a short knee that drops Amander. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood lands a left and a right that send Dong crashing to the mat, dazed. Wood thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Laarj Dong has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dong is rocked! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dong. Wood connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Dong to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Wood!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Volinov looking to control.
Volinov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Volinov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smack defends it easily. Volinov controlling Smack's posture. Smack throws and elbow that misses. Volinov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smack's guard. Nice move by Volinov! Volinov trying to control the position from guard on top but Smack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smack striking off his back but it's not causing Volinov any problems. Volinov trying to control but Smack is working from the bottom. Smack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Volinov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smack trying to strike off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Smack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Smack with a nice head shot there. Volinov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Smack is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Smack throws a strike but Volinov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Volinov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Volinov trying to control the position from guard on top but Smack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smack can do anything to dispel that myth. Volinov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Smack looking to hit a scissor sweep but Volinov is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Volinov with a lazy takedown attempt and Smack counters with a nice double leg into guard. Volinov is breathing heavily. Volinov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smack content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Smack's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Smack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Smack works over Volinov with some ground and pound from guard. Smack lands a couple of decent looking shots. Smack postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Smack is in close to Volinov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Smack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Volinov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smack trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Volinov is trying to keep Smack in close.
Smack chips away with some ground and pound. Smack won't allow Volinov to sweep him here. Volinov looking to control.

You get the feeling that Ironchin really doesn't like being in this position too much.

He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Koo seems to have locked his on tight now - Adams screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Koo, as he picks up the win!

Peterwhacker tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Michael Peterwhacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterwhacker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The fighters circling - Peterwhacker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peterwhacker throws a lazy body kick and Tanner counters with a lovely shot to the body. Peterwhacker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tanner, as that shot connected.
Tanner scores with a punch to the head. Tanner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tanner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Peterwhacker scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tanner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tanner throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryce Tanner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tanner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
