0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Robinson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jimmy Logan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robinson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Robinson tries to clinch there but Logan circles away.
Logan swats away the attempt to clinch by Robinson. Logan moves into range and clinches up with Robinson. Robinson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Robinson stops a takedown attempt from Logan.
Logan is trying to force a seperation but Robinson has the dominant position. Logan manages to break the clinch.
Robinson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Logan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robinson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Logan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Logan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Logan throws out a powerful jab. Robinson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jimmy Logan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Logan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Logan throws a jab when Robinson was well out of range. Logan is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Logan drives through and clinches with Robinson against the ropes.
Logan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Logan moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Logan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Logan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've been informed that Aleksanyan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Rockhold throws a leg kick and Aleksanyan counters with a takedown into side control. Rockhold is breathing heavily. Aleksanyan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rockhold keeps working. An elbow from Aleksanyan crashes against the mat.

Rockhold looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Despite the aggression on Javier 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Maia keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! Javier is not content to let Maia control the position. Maia decides to return to a standing position. Maia moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Javier can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Javier is looking to stand up but Maia won't let him. Javier tries to free his leg and advance position but Maia is retaining full guard. Maia has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Javier doesn't defend quickly enough and Maia has managed to lock this one up! Can Javier escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Maia on a fantastic submission victory.

Pugin is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Gorman moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Bobrovich looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Leg Lock regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here.
