That was a close round but I would say that Nick Gonzalez will probably get the nod.

Gonzalez sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Macpierre's defenses. It connects perfectly with Macpierre's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Of Gulet connects with a leg kick. Karasev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Karasev looks to land a left hand but Of Gulet moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Of Gulet throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Karasev seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Of Gulet takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Karasev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Karasev feints a jab promting Of Gulet to slip. Karasev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Of Gulet slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Karasev.
Karasev throws a hook to the side of Of Gulet's head but Of Gulet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Of Gulet counters by moving into the clinch.

Karasev manages to break the clinch.
Karasev is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Of Gulet fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Karasev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Of Gulet thows a body kick. Karasev tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Of Gulet drops Karasev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Karasev looks back up at him and smiles so Of Gulet waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Karasev is rocked!

It looks like Alexey Karasev has been cut.
Of Gulet throws a body punch but Karasev moves out of range.
Oh Karasev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Of Gulet throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Karasev counters with a stiff right hand.
Karasev seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice inside leg kick there by Of Gulet. That's going to slow Karasev down.

Of Gulet throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Of Gulet drops Karasev with a naaaaasty hook - Karasev is in real trouble here! Of Gulet dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
