Mccarthy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Foster. Foster walks into a stiff left hand from Mccarthy. Mccarthy misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Foster showed some decent athleticism there. Foster trying to pass the guard but Mccarthy defending well. Foster in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mccarthy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Foster!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Aidan Foster! Aidan Foster is the new super heavyweight champion!
