The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore tries to clinch but Guschin is having none of it.

Moore shoots in for a takedown but Guschin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Guschin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Moore misses with a double jab
letting Guschin counter with a right hand.
Guschin moves into range and connects with a jab.
Moore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guschin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moore somewhat.
Moore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guschin swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guschin waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Moore. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Moore to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

A momentary lapse in concentration from Man enables Saarelainen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Man manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Saarelainen drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Saarelainen as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Man screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Saarelainen! Nice submission victory there!

Bam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Bam, which made it look bad.

Man throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bam swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Bam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bam seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Bam clinches up against the cage.
Man tries to pull guard but Bam holds him up against the cage and eventually Man drops back down to his feet.
Bam can't get the takedown.

Bam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Man tries to sprawl but Bam drives through with a takedown into half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
