The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmannus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mcmannus moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
As Mcmannus looks to move away, Jones throws a big counter combo but Mcmannus just gets out of the way.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jones rushes Mcmannus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones wants to stand and escape but Mcmannus is having none of it.

Mikhailov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mikhailov is looking to defend but Moses has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mikhailov! Moses pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mikhailov taps out and this one is all over!

Caralho tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've been hearing good reports from Caralho's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Caralho's waist but Caralho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Caralho tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Caralho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Adriel Marques will probably get the nod.

Marques closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Marques getting side control.
