The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've been hearing reports that Al Khan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Artist throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rock is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Artist swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Artist connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rock's hands.

Artist fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Artist throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rock.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rock is defended easily by Artist.
An attempted straight right counter from Artist misses the target.

Artist is trying to break the clinch but Rock has him pressed against the cage.
Rock tries to stall but Artist uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Artist escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Artist, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Artist wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rock shoots in for a double leg but Artist sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Artist showed his dominance in that final round.
