1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evgeni Elkemenchi! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elkemenchi shoots in and bounces Cosades off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Elkemenchi looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cosades is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Elkemenchi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elkemenchi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cosades had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Elkemenchi defends it easily. Elkemenchi throwing strikes but missing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Elkemenchi. Elkemenchi on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Nice defenses there by Elkemenchi. Cosades is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Elkemenchi can do to turn this around? Elkemenchi shoots and misses and Cosades counters with a two punch combo. Cosades fails to land with a series of punches.

Elkemenchi is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cosades knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cosades for a finish. This has been an exciting period of action! Elkemenchi doesn't have the hooks in and Cosades manages to turn into his guard.

Howson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sin throws a jab when Howson was well out of range. Lee Sin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Howson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sin looks to score with a jab to the body but Howson is just out of range. Howson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Howson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Sin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howson manages to avoid it. Sin misses with a hook to the body

Sin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Howson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Howson moves out of range of the leg kick from Sin.

Sin gets off balance looking for a body kick and Howson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Howson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Howson now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Nice uppercut lands for Sin. That snapped Howson's head back.
Howson moves out of range as Sin strikes. Howson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. The crowd cheers as Sin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Howson doesn't seem phased though. Sin cracks Howson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sin motions for Howson to come forward. Sin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Howson is out of range. Sin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Howson. Sin has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Sin swings for the body but Howson moves out of range.

Howson does a little dance to reset his feet. Sin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sin tries to bum rush Howson with a series of wild strikes but Howson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sin misses with a leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Sin misses the target. Howson now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Howson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Howson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Sin has got the better of the exchanges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sin keeps Howson at a distance using the push kick. Sin defending well as Howson loads up on a big left hand. Howson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Howson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sin throws a body shot but no joy. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Howson! But no joy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dibwibbler tries to close the distance and clinch but Montez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Montez tries to keep at a distance but Dibwibbler has taken the fight into the clinch. Dibwibbler pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Montez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dibwibbler walks away with a smile on his face. Montez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dibwibbler with a nice cross. Montez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dibwibbler can pounce on him.
Dibwibbler clinches up with Montez and pushes him back against the cage. Dibwibbler gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Montez.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Velasquez misses. Wick has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Pure Warrior in the buildup to the fight. Velasquez looks to score with a jab to the body but Wick is just out of range. Velasquez throws a nice looking combination but Wick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Velasquez counters with a one-two to the body. Wick fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Velasquez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Velasquez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wick forces Velasquez back against the cage and clinches. Wick tries to pull guard but Velasquez won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Wick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Velasquez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Velasquez cracks Wick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Velasquez sprawls well. Velasquez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wick gets slowly back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right-left combo lands from Velasquez.

Wick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Velasquez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Velasquez throws a right and a left that both miss. A combination from Velasquez does no damage. A clash of legs there as Velasquez blocks the low kick. Velasquez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Velasquez misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab-cross combination lands for Wick and sends Velasquez crashing to the mat! Wick follows him down to the mat - Velasquez regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Ato Velasquez has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wick looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Velasquez is still in real trouble! Can Wick finish him? Wick seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Velasquez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! Mercy ducked under it nicely. Mercy misses with a looping right. Mercy misses with an uppercut. Sato moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A slow jab from Mercy misses its intended target. Mercy throws an ugly left hook that misses

Northrop lands a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Northrop throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Iwoba trying to control the position from guard on top but Northrop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Northrop can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Iwoba controls the pace. Iwoba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bosco Iwoba has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Iwoba loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Northrop lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Iwoba wants to sweep here but Northrop controlling him for the moment. Iwoba is controlling Northrop's posture. Northrop slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Iwoba is looking for a triangle but Northrop pushes his legs off easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Northrop works the jab nicely. Northrop gets the takedown into side control. Iwoba manages to get back to half guard. Northrop prevents Iwoba from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Northrop is trying to control the action in half guard but Iwoba is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Northrop is nestled in close to Iwoba, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that's the end of the fight! Russell Northrop showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Northrop, winning every round. Will the judges agree? 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Viktor Grishin! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot. Lee swings and misses with a shot to the body and Grishin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lee thinking. Lee misses with a straight left. Grishin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards. Grishin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee. Grishin throws out a counter right but Lee avoids it with no problem. Grishin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee throws a hook to the side of Grishin's head but Grishin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Grishin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Lee throws a shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grishin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Grishin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Boo Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee moves into range and connects with a jab.
Grishin is rocked! Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
