Smaxsons drops Starr with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Starr looks back up at him and smiles so Smaxsons waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Starr gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Smaxsons gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

We've been hearing good reports from Mayhem's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Possibly an early stoppage but Pauwels doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
