Lorenzo misses with a takedown attempt
and Dagher counters with an inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lorenzo is defended easily by Dagher.
We've been told by Dagher's head coaches at The Pure Warrior that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lorenzo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dagher tries to avoid it but Lorenzo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dagher to the ground. Dagher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Asmar Dagher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Lorenzo.
Nice sprawl there from Dagher as Lorenzo shoots in.

Lorenzo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dagher sees it coming and defends easily.

Lorenzo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lorenzo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dagher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lorenzo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dagher is just riding it out for now. Lorenzo eventually gives up the hold.
