Faber wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Powell has him pressed against the ropes. Powell throws an elbow but it misses.
Powell lands an elbow that stopped Faber in his tracks for a moment. Faber takes an elbow to the temple. Powell creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Faber! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Powell.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Powell! Scott Powell is the new bantamweight champion! Scott Powell very nearly forgot to thank Versus amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
