Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Jackson Jr! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson Jr throws a half hearted mid kick. Jackson Jr throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range. Jackson Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Burns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burns manages to avoid it. Jackson Jr wants to clinch but Burns slips to the side and Burns counters with a straight right hand. Jackson Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Burns circles away.
Jackson Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center. Burns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson Jr circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson Jr looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jackson Jr is rocked! Some wild striking there from Burns.
Jackson Jr connects with an inside leg kick. Jackson Jr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jackson Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him? Burns connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Jackson Jr out cold! This one is over in a flash!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinney throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wag counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wag. Wag is standing up over Kinney. Kinney looks to escape but Wag dives into side control.
Wag working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Wag happy to just control the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinney is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Wag take his back! Uh oh - Wag has got a rear naked choke here! Kinney is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hills tries for a takedown but Avalon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hills misses with a body shot.

Hills uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Avalon. Avalon misses with a head kick.
Avalon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hills counters with a series of strikes. Avalon will be more careful next time no doubt. Avalon tries to clinch up but Hills circles away and keeps his distance. Avalon looks to land a left hand but Hills moved out of range nicely. Hills looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hills gets a takedown into half guard. Hills is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Avalon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hills. Hills is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hills trying to control from half guard but Avalon is working away. Avalon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hills. Avalon wants to get back to his feet. Hills takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Avalon tries to kick Hills off but Hills keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Avalon is staying active underneath Hills, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Avalon is trying to stand back up but Hills is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hills is looking to advance position but Avalon won't allow it. Avalon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hills. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hills connects with a nice short shot to Avalon's temple. Avalon is trying to stand up here but Hills is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hills scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Avalon is trying to stand up here but Hills is controlling him well. Hills looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Avalon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hills sitting and controlling from the half guard. Hills takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hills has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Avalon is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hills! Avalon is hurt baaadly! Hills is firing away with more strikes - Avalon is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trey Hills! A very excited looking Trey Hills rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. Bjarni Avalon spoke after the fight, saying 'No comments. I lost.... That's it.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nah scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Anstey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Anstey missing with a left hand there. Nah was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Anstey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nah. Nah displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anstey throws out the jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Nah. Anstey does a little dance to reset his feet. Nah fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Tee Nah has been cut. Anstey tests Nah's chin there with a solid looking shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anstey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nah tries a low kick but Anstey avoids it. Nah throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anstey sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nah misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Anstey.
Anstey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nah on the side of the head. Nah ducks under a wild hook from Anstey. Nah clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Nah fails to land. Nah keeps control of Anstey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Anstey blocks an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nah. Anstey has had enough of the clinch but Nah keeps him there for the moment. Anstey lands with a short shot to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Anstey. Nah swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nah keeps control of Anstey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Anstey manages to break the clinch.
Nah on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Anstey connects with a looping right hand.
Anstey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nah. Nah let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Nah throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nah takes a swing at Anstey's ribcage but misses. Tee Nah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A low kick from Nah is predictable there and Anstey counters with a crisp right that sends Nah to the canvas! Anstey follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
