Some wild striking there from Kawike.
Kawike shoots in looking for a takedown. Boy tries to sprawl out of it but Kawike keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kawike getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kawike has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boy finds it's way round the side to connect with Kawike's head.
Kawike blocks the body kick.
Boy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Boy lands a head kick. Kawike smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A slow jab from Boy misses its intended target.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Boy! Kawike is out on his feet! Boy rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kawike is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kawike is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gilbert Schilt.
