The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savitaipale swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tyler.
Nice defenses there by Tyler.
Nice shot lands for Savitaipale.

Savitaipale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tyler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Savitaipale is in Tyler's guard.
Savitaipale won't allow Tyler to get back to his feet.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Savitaipale working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Savitaipale is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tyler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savitaipale on the ground.

It looks like Savitaipale might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tyler is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Tyler is trying to escape the position but Savitaipale is controlling the position.

Savitaipale remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Savitaipale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Savitaipale is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Price takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Price misses with a series of wild punches.
Price blocks a head kick by Kruger.
Kruger misses with a wild body shot.
Kruger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Price stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Price takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kruger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Price gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kruger gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Price is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Cabrera moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Cabrera tries to bum rush Wayne with a series of wild strikes but Wayne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wayne swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Cabrera gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Cabrera tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wayne is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Cabrera buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cabrera!! Cabrera is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wayne throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Yamaguchi's coach down at Ganja Paradise was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yamaguchi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Raikonnen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yamaguchi was well out of range. Poor timing from Raikonnen.
No joy there for Yamaguchi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raikonnen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Yamaguchi manages to circle out of the way.

Yamaguchi drops Raikonnen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Raikonnen looks back up at him and smiles so Yamaguchi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Yamaguchi counters with a left to the body.
Yamaguchi drops Raikonnen with a huge uppercut! Raikonnen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Yamaguchi is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Khan drops Maint with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maint looks back up at him and smiles so Khan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Maint switches off momentarily and Khan cracks him with a monster right hand! Maint topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Khan dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Khan!
