The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schwarzeneg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fedotov is positioning himself well to prevent Schwarzeneg advancing to mount.

Fedotov tries to get to full guard but Schwarzeneg has control of the leg.
Schwarzeneg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anadrade's coach down at MM eh Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Anadrade's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Anadrade closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boyd did well to prevent Anadrade getting side control.
Anadrade is nestled in close to Boyd, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Prime misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prime throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Prime throws a lazy right hand but Anstey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Prime moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Prime closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Anstey counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Optimus Prime has been cut.
Prime wants to clinch.
Prime pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Anstey lands a big uppercut and Prime crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Prime looks OK. Anstey waves Prime back to his feet!

Prime drops his hands momentarily. Anstey doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Prime staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Prime doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
