Punkkari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bloggs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Punkkari looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Punkkari attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bloggs tries to clinch but Punkkari is having none of it.
Bloggs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thomas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sam Smith will probably get the nod.

Thomas has hold of Smith's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Smith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thomas cranks the arm and Smith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jackson tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Santos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Lipton Jackson has been cut.
Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Santos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jackson walks into a stiff left hand from Santos.
Santos lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jackson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Santos and Jackson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Santos.
