Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Thompson misses with a head kick.

and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thompson thinking.
A jab lands there for Jones.
Jones lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Thompson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jones from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Thompson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Cricket drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cricket jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cricket wants to stand but Ortega is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cricket stands and throws Ortega's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Cricket is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ortega knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cricket is working to tighten his grip on Ortega's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ortega has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cricket is really squeezing tight and eventually Ortega passes out! Cricket breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
