Wood comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enae Volare Mezzo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Haller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Wood! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haller doesn't manage to clinch there - Wood circles away.
Wood slips a jab and a cross from Haller.
Haller missing with a left hand there. Wood was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Haller misses with a series of wild punches.
Haller throws a right hand that Wood ducks under and follows up with a left that Wood also avoids with ease. Haller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Haller as he jumps to the side. Haller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wood but Wood pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wood shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wood thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Haller's head. Wood prevents Haller from standing back up.
Haller kicks Wood off and gets back to his feet. Haller swinging wilding here.
Haller misses with a series of wild punches.
Wood shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brad Haller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Wood.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood fails with the takedown. Wood pushes Haller up against the cage in a clinch. Wood has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Haller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Wood tries for a takedown. No joy.
Haller manages to break the clinch.
Haller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brad Haller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wood tries to bum rush Haller with a series of wild strikes but Haller uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wood shoots in and drives through. Haller sprawls well. Wood looks gassed! Haller misses with a double jab
and Wood counters by moving into the clinch. Haller wants to get back to striking at distance but Wood won't allow it.
Haller stops a takedown attempt from Wood.
Wood keeps control of Haller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wood has Haller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Haller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Haller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Haller as he jumps to the side. Good shot there by Haller. Haller tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wood takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Haller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wood looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Haller! Wood thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Wood is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Haller can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Haller is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Wood scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Haller?
Oh Haller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wood landing punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wood lands a big elbow. Wood putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wood dominating with strikes here. Wood in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Wood throwing strikes here but Haller is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Wood lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Haller hang on? This has been an exciting period of action! Wood connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wood postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Haller looks a forlorn figure.
Wood loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Haller scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Wood land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Wood stands and salutes the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaulen fails with a takedown attempt. Martin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Vaulen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vaulen. Vaulen landing with the ground and pound. Martin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Martin punching from the bottom - just letting Vaulen know he's still in a fight. Martin keeping moving, preventing Vaulen from controlling successfully. Martin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vaulen won't allow Martin to sweep him here. Vaulen trying to control but Martin is working from the bottom. Martin wants to stand and escape but Vaulen is having none of it.

Martin wants to stand up but Vaulen is controlling him. Martin wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Vaulen is now in half guard. Vaulen is stalling here. Martin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Vaulen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Martin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Vaulen looks gassed! Vaulen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Martin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Vaulen tries to get to full guard but Martin has control of the leg.

Martin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Martin passes to side control. Martin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Martin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Martin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vaulen throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaulen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Martin tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Vaulen regains full guard. Nicely done. Martin wants to control from the top but Vaulen keeps moving. Vaulen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Vaulen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Martin's face.
Martin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vaulen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vaulen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Martin wants to hold on but Vaulen pushes him away. Oooooh, big shot lands for Vaulen! Martin is hurt baaadly! Vaulen is firing away with more strikes - Martin is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phonics has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pulving tries to score a body lock takedown but Phonics shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pulving wants to break the clinch but can't.
Phonics gets underhooks to prevent Pulving's takedown attempt.
Phonics gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pulving.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amil Pulving. That's going to take a lot out of him. Phonics stops a takedown attempt from Pulving.
Phonics decides to pull guard. Pulving working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Phonics looking for a guillotine here but Pulving defends easily.

No damage this time. Phonics striking off his back but it's not causing Pulving any problems. Phonics pulls Pulving in to control the position. Pulving scoring with punches to the head and body. Phonics striking from his own guard. Phonics is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Phonics's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Phonics manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pulving manages to get himself to full guard.
Pulving is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Phonics postures up and lands a big shot to Pulving's brow. Phonics chips away with some ground and pound. Phonics seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Phonics advances to half guard. Pulving might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Phonics is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pulving! Pulving taking shots to the head.

Pulving gets back to half guard. Pulving tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Pulving gets full guard. Pulving looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Phonics puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Pulving has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Phonics is working away from the top position though. Pulving slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pulving tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Pulving is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Phonics off and has taken his back! Pulving throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Phonics!

He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pulving's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Phonics. Pulving wants to sweep but no luck. Pulving trying to strike off his back.

Phonics is looking for a triangle but Pulving pushes his legs off easily.

Pulving stands up over Phonics, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walter wants to clinch up but Jerky keeps it at a distance. Walter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jerky paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jerky swats away the attempt to clinch by Walter. Jerky misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jerky shoots for a double leg takedown but Walter sprawls well. He's pushed Jerky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cracky Jerky. Walter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jerky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jerky lands in his opponent's guard. Karusa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bob's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Karusa not allowing Bob to control his hands. Bob needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Karusa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Karusa is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Andrews has his takedown stuffed and Berra counters with a nice double leg into guard. Berra wants to get up but he can't break Andrews's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Andrews throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Berra must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andrews has his feet on Berra's thighs here. He's pushed Berra off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Berra screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pimpson wants to control from the top but Theodoros keeps moving. Pimpson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pimpson stands up and beckons Theodoros to join him on the feet. Pimpson shoots in and bounces Theodoros off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Theodoros scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Pimpson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Theodoros counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Theodoros looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pimpson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Theodoros working over Pimpson with some ground and pound. Pimpson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Pimpson is trying to control but can't.
