The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Paulman wants to clinch up but Starrk keeps it at a distance. Starrk clinches up with Paulman and pushes him back against the cage. Starrk goes for a takedown attempt but Paulman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Paulman shoots for a takedown but Starrk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Starrk clinches up against the cage. Starrk is pressed up against the cage. Paulman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Starrk down to the mat. Starrk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Paulman or perhaps it was just good defense by Starrk, which made it look bad. Coyote Starrk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
