Vinicius walks into a left hand.

It looks like Marcus Vinicius has been cut.

Jones sends Vinicius crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jones is motioning to the referee to let Vinicius up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vinicius thinking.
Oh Vinicius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Vinicius flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vinicius is out cold! Jones holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. First is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Williams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

It looks like Manny First has been cut.
First is looking to improve his position.

First is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Williams pulls his head out easily.
Williams lands strikes from half guard.

First looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
First is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Williams scores with a couple of nice shots.

That has opened up Manny First's cut even more.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Williams winds up and cracks First with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The cut above Manny First's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
First has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Williams is working away from the top position though.
Williams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Manny First's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Manny First's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Spencer lands a jab to Anderson's midsection.
Anderson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A head kick by Anderson misses
and Spencer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Anderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Anderson misses with a wild body shot.
Anderson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spencer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Anderson tries to clinch up but Spencer circles away and keeps his distance.
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spencer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
Anderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Spencer defends it nicely.
Spencer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spencer.
Anderson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Spencer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Anderson has his takedown stuffed
letting Spencer counter with a right hand.
Bud Spencer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Anderson.
Anderson closes the distance but Spencer moves to the side
letting Spencer counter with a right hand.
Spencer throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it.
Spencer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spencer works over Anderson's head and body with a nice combination.
Anderson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Spencer counters with a crisp right that sends Anderson to the canvas! Spencer follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Abate throws a head kick that misses.
Abate fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cricket looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Abate throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cricket counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Abate!

Cricket looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Cricket tries for a kimura but Abate is defending well.
Abate should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Abate tries to improve position but can't.

Cricket tries for a kimura but Abate is defending well.

Cricket thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Cricket swings around for an armbar but Abate sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cricket's guard.

Abate content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cricket has locked up a guillotine! Cricket's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Abate is holding on here and Cricket must be using up a lot of energy. Abate has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cricket gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

In his post fight interview, Hank Cricket started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
