Marx throws a shot to the body.
Kopp looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marx connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Marx lands with a right hand.

Marx feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kopp sprawling to the canvas! Kopp rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marx finish him?!

Kopp is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kopp switches off momentarily and Marx cracks him with a monster right hand! Kopp topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Marx dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Marx!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Karl Marx!
In his post fight interview, Karl Marx started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
