Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcelo Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Noodle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Garcia with the counter takedown but Noodle avoids it easily.
Garcia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Noodle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Garcia explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Nice takedown defense from Noodle. No joy for Garcia on that attempt.
Noodle fails with the takedown.
And Garcia tries to counter it with a takedown but Noodle pushes his down on his head and steps out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Noodle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Noodle makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Noodle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garcia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McGarrison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dangle is just riding it out for now. McGarrison eventually gives up the hold.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dangle looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by McGarrison! Submission of the night perhaps?
