The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KEAKUA throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Punishment's waist but Punishment gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing KEAKUA off to one side. KEAKUA lands a high kick to the side of Punishment's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! KEAKUA dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like George Punishment has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! KEAKUA throwing strikes from guard but Punishment blocks nicely. KEAKUA avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as KEAKUA accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. KEAKUA looking to pass the guard. Punishment got a little sloppy there for a moment and KEAKUA has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! He has the arm isolated but Black is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mafusa in side control, throwing shots but Black defends. Mafusa creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Black dodges the ground and pound from Mafusa. Mafusa working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Black wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Mafusa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kopylov walks into a stiff left hand from Williams. Colt Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kopylov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kopylov there as he acknowledges the shot. Williams tries to clinch there but Kopylov circles away.
Williams gets a takedown into half guard. Williams passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kopylov! Williams tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
