Stiffy darts in looking for a takedown but Tycooner gets double underhooks and turns Stiffy into the cage.
It seemed like Tycooner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stiffy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tycooner's waist but Tycooner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stiffy off to one side.
Stiffy shoots in looking for a takedown but Tycooner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stiffy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taco Stiffy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tycooner can do anything to dispel that myth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urzu misses with a straight left.
Francis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

It looks like Jan Urzu has been cut.

Urzu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jan Urzu decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Knobpunch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xyd pinned against the cage. Xyd gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A bone on bone clash there as Xyd blocks the leg kick.

And Knobpunch tries to counter it with a takedown but Xyd pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Blast Knobpunch decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
