Rem rushes Jeffries and presses him up against the cage.

It looks like Sam Rem has been cut.
I was talking to Jeffries 's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Jeffries throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rems head.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Jeffries .
Jeffries lands a shoulder strike.

Rem is rocked!

That has opened up Sam Rem's cut even more.
Jeffries lands an elbow inside that Rem shrugs off.
Rem is still on wobbly legs! Can Jeffries finish him?
Jeffries has Rem pressed against the cage. He pushes Rem back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Jeffries throws a beautiful elbow that sends Rem crashing to the floor! Jeffries piles on the pressure with more strikes! Rem is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
