Ghonaay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Son quickly recovers to half guard.

Ghonaay has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Son is working away from the top position though.
Ghonaay seems to have recovered his senses.
Son wants to stand but Ghonaay has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Ghonaay has control of Son's left arm, preventing Son from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Son will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Son wants to stand but Ghonaay has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ghonaay is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Son has his hands clasped together but Ghonaay extends and breaks Son's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ghonaay.

Carter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hyun Choi fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Guzan to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Guzan looks to clinch but Hyun Choi throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Guzan taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Will takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Todorov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Will tries for a takedown but Todorov circles away easily
and Todorov counters with a right hand to the body.
Todorov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Will at a distance.
Todorov looks to land a combination. Will sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Will shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Todorov sprawls well. Todorov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Will gets slowly back to his feet.

Will throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Todorov was covering up waiting for the punch and Will finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Todorov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Will. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Todorov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Will controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Todorov looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Todorov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Will's head.

and Todorov counters with a huge left! Will is in big trouble! He's backing up but Todorov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Will from any more damage. A dominating finish by Todorov!
