The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuncer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Strom pinned against the cage. Strom gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Strom screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masino has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masino and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Pope might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Masino has got the better of the exchanges.

He turns his back on Masino, trying to create some distance but Masino rushes him, striking wildly and Pope goes down! The referee tackles Masino into the cage to end the fight! Masino is one violent man!

A relieved looking Don Masino thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
