0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Garcia! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mangana's guard. Mangana managing to control the position. Mangana wants to get back to his feet but Garcia is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Garcia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garcia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Garcia passes easily into side control. Nice work. Mangana is trying to work for a sweep but Garcia has mounted him! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mangana has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mangana is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mangana tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mangana wants to hold on but Garcia pushes him away. Mangana has left one of his arms exposed and Garcia doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mangana screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Billy Garcia! An out of breath Billy Garcia thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlando clinches with his opponent.
Orlando is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Orlando breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Orlando rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage. Orlando breaks from the clinch.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Orlando paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jackson throws a right hand that Orlando ducks under and follows up with a left that Orlando also avoids with ease. Jackson dives in and grabs Orlando's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orlando pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out. Jackson misses with a takedown and Orlando counters with a nice uppercut. Orlando throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orlando connects with a superb combination that knocks Jackson out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Orlando before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Jackson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Nurmagomedov. No luck for Nurmagomedov with that takedown attempt. Nurmagomedov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bronie as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khabib Nurmagomedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nurmagomedov shoots in and gets a takedown into Bronie's guard. Nurmagomedov tries to free his leg and advance position but Bronie is retaining full guard. Nurmagomedov wants to control from the top but Bronie keeps moving. Nurmagomedov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bronie's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nurmagomedov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bronie sprawls well. He's pushed Nurmagomedov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bronie clinches up against the cage. Nurmagomedov tries to pull guard but Bronie won't allow it.
Nurmagomedov jumps guard but Bronie stands there with Nurmagomedov around his waist. Nurmagomedov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nurmagomedov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bronie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bronie wants it to stay on the feet. Bronie throws out a counter right but Nurmagomedov avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khabib Nurmagomedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bronie looking to score a takedown here. Nurmagomedov is defending well but Bronie drives through and ends up in Nurmagomedov's guard. Bronie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bronie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nurmagomedov keeping moving, preventing Bronie from controlling successfully. Bronie throwing shots but Nurmagomedov is blocking nicely. Bronie sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nurmagomedov defending well though. Bronie stalling. Bronie slips a nice elbow through Nurmagomedov's hands, connecting with Nurmagomedov's forehead. Nurmagomedov is defending against the submission attempts here by Bronie.

Nurmagomedov manages to land in guard. Bronie trying to control the position from guard on top but Nurmagomedov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nurmagomedov's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bronie is looking for a kimura but Nurmagomedov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bronie to get the leverage. Nurmagomedov tries to roll over but Bronie keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight! Anthony Jay Bronie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bronie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Pettis counters with a stiff right hand. Greco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Pettis darts in and clinches Greco up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Greco. A short right from Pettis. Pettis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Pettis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pettis scores with a nice hook to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Greco. Greco misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pettis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Davis shoots in looking for a takedown but Zuev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zuev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Davis tries for a takedown but Zuev circles away easily and Zuev counters with a nice uppercut. Davis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Davis moves away from the strike by Zuev . Zuev looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range. Davis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zuev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zuev tries to get out of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis looking to pass the guard. Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Zuev is trying to push Davis off with his feet but Davis grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Zuev 's ankles and Zuev is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Nig. The fight stays on the outside here - Nig looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brown seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Brown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Nig is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Nig circles away and we're back to standing. Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nig tries to clinch up. Nig sizes up Brown with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Nig lands a really nice looking cross but Brown seems unphased.
Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nig lands a jab to Brown's midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nig scores with a nice head shot. Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nig swivels and escapes. Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Nig, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Nig against the cage but Nig circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buck Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nig but Nig pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nig tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brown shoots in and bounces Nig off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nig is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nig really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown trying to control but Nig is working from the bottom. Brown in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brown passes Nig's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nig blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brown. Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nig doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown. Brown wants to take a breather but Nig is having none of it. Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nig's head. Brown with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nig can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nig could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Brown has cracked it and Nig is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Brown!

Buck Brown spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

He's persisting with it as Bickle sprawls well. Bickle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Knobpunch gets slowly back to his feet. Bickle connects with a looping right hand.
Knobpunch looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Knobpunch throwing shots but Bickle is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knobpunch is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bickle kicks off Knobpunch and gets to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Not much technique there but it did the business. Knobpunch throws a lazy body kick and Bickle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bickle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Knobpunch is rocked! Bickle scores with a hook to the body. Knobpunch takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Oh Knobpunch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bickle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Knobpunch had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Bickle drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Knobpunch right on the button. Knobpunch goes down! Bickle follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Bickle gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown Jr explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Brown Jr looks to throw the jab but Lesnar is out of range. Brown Jr with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Emmitt Brown Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown Jr connects with a body shot that sends Lesnar's belly button to the back. Brown Jr feints and then cracks Lesnar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lesnar down. Lesnar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown Jr.
Brown Jr misses with a double jab
and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lesnar is pushing down on Brown Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Lesnar has managed to sneak the leg through. Lesnar uses his free foot to push down on Brown Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brown Jr. Brown Jr has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar is cranking Brown Jr's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Brown Jr! He's tightened the choke and Brown Jr is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brock Lesnar! Brock Lesnar retains his featherweight title! A less than humble Brock Lesnar misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
