The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva pushes Echojile up against the cage in a clinch. Da Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Da Silva jumps guard and drags Echojile to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Echojile controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Let's hope that Echojile has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Da Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Echojile is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Da Silva lands a head kick. Echojile smiles back at him and beckons him forward. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Echojile escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Da Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Da Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Echojile working a defensive guard here.

It looks like Patrick Star has been cut. Oalognov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Oooooh!!! Oalognov has knocked Star down with a huge combo! Oalognov steps away and waves a wobbly Star back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Oalognov closes the distance but Star moves to the side and Star counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Star. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oalognov has his feet on Star's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Star shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oalognov but Oalognov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Star's coach down at KING OF PAIN was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Star's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Oalognov clinches up with Star and pushes him back against the cage. Star avoids a wild elbow strike from Oalognov. Star is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Oalognov is defending well. Oalognov prevents the takedown attempt.
Krigniv Oalognov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Star. Oalognov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Star throws a wild hook but Oalognov just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Star gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Oalognov raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevalainen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Khalafa to the ground. Nevalainen is now in Khalafa's guard. Khalafa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nevalainen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nevalainen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nevalainen wants to control from the top but Khalafa keeps moving. Nevalainen stands up over Khalafa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nevalainen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Khalafa looking to control.
Khalafa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nevalainen on the ground. Khalafa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Khalafa controls Nevalainen momentarily but Nevalainen frees himself. Khalafa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Khalafa tries to get out of the position. Nevalainen with a nice head shot there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nevalainen works over Khalafa with some ground and pound from guard. Nevalainen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Khalafa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Nevalainen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Check out the look on Nevalainen's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Nevalainen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Khalafa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kopylov moves into range and clinches up with Vercingeto. Vercingeto tightens his grip and picks Kopylov up, before dumping him to the ground. Kopylov manages to land in guard. Kopylov trying to keep a closed guard but Vercingeto is proving a slippery customer.
Vercingeto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kopylov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kopylov tries to get out of the position. Kopylov has his foot on Vercingeto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vercingeto works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kopylov looking for a guillotine here but Vercingeto defends easily.
Vercingeto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kopylov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vercingeto distracts Kopylov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kopylov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vercingeto lands a couple of elbows. Vercingeto trying to control the position from guard on top but Kopylov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vercingeto is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kopylov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Vercingeto rolls with it to try and escape but Kopylov cranks on the arm and Vercingeto is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Xerxes as Anderson tries to tie him up. Anderson is trying to stall.
Anderson wants a takedown.
A nice right hand lands inside from Xerxes. Anderson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Anderson tries to stall but Xerxes uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Xerxes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
It looks like Luther Anderson has been cut. Anderson takes a shot to the head. A nice left hand lands by Xerxes.
Anderson looking for a takedown. Anderson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Xerxes gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rostam Xerxes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luther Anderson. A body shot lands from Xerxes.
Anderson looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xerxes stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Xerxes lands a hook to the side of the head.
Anderson is rocked! Xerxes lands a nice uppercut. Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Xerxes finish him? Xerxes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Xerxes seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Xerxes throws an uppercut from hell that sends Anderson clean off his feet! He's out cold! Xerxes stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaker swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Overeem counter with a right hand.
It looks like Scott Blaker has been cut. Overeem throws a body shot but no joy. Overeem rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blaker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Overeem sends Blaker crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Overeem is motioning to the referee to let Blaker up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! We've been informed that Blaker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blaker staying out of range there. Overeem moves in close and cracks Blaker with a massive right hand! Blaker, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Overeem!
