Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
40 - 78 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Jaromir Jag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Chow! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chow fails with the takedown. Chow looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chow won't allow Jag to get back to his feet. Jag being controlled here, momentarily. Jag is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chow is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jag keeping full guard, as Chow tries to pass. Chow won't allow Jag to get back to his feet. Chow sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jag's guard. Chow stops Jag from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jag tries to kick Chow off but Chow keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Chow with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jag wants to get back to his feet.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Chow forces Jag back against the cage and clinches. Chow lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jag misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jag tries to land knees in the clinch but Chow avoids the damage to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow gets through Jag's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Chow lands a body punch. Nice body punch from Chow. Chow landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Jag is working Chow over against the cage. Chow goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Chow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A right handed body shot lands from Chow.
Chow comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Jag doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jag goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jag wants to clinch up but Chow keeps it at a distance. Chow feints and as Jag raises his hands in defense, Chow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jag wriggles free and stands up. Chow clinches up against the cage. Knees to the body from Jag.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chow presses Jag against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Jag with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Chow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kim Chow seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Jag pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Chow lands a body shot in the clinch.

Chow effectively controlling the action here. Chow scores with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Chow on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Chow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jag gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Chow struggles to land a body shot inside as Jag controls his hands.
Jag wants to stall.
Jag tries a knee to the head but Chow blocks it.
Chow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jag is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Chow or perhaps it was just good defense by Jag, which made it look bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chow manages to end up in side control. A lull in the action here as Chow stalls from top position. Jag is pushing Chow's head away, looking to escape. Chow manages to hold on to the position though. The referee asks Chow politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chow prefers to stall for the moment though. Jag wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow stands up. Jag tries to clinch but Chow is having none of it. Chow gets a clinch. Jag tries to land knees in the clinch but Chow avoids the damage to the body. Chow blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Chow misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chow keeps control of Jag as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Chow manages to pull guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kim Chow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chow has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justice misses with a double jab.
Justice stuffs the takedown attempt from Schwarzeneg. Schwarzeneg gets slowly back to his feet. Justice looks like he wants to counter punch here. Schwarzeneg fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Justice shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Justice showed some decent athleticism there. Justice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Justice looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schwarzeneg is trying to stand up here but Justice is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwarzeneg has hold of Justice's hands but Justice slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Justice content to control rather than advance. Justice trying to control from half guard but Schwarzeneg is working away. Justice is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We've been hearing good reports from Schwarzeneg's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Justice works his way into full mount! Schwarzeneg trying desperately to get to his feet.

It looks like Roger Schwarzeneg has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzeneg is trying desperately to improve position. Justice wants to control the pace but Schwarzeneg is squirming around nicely. Schwarzeneg wants to get back to his feet.
Justice unloading with bombs! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Justice with good strikes from the mount here! Schwarzeneg is bucking up trying to escape but Justice cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Justice looking to control but Schwarzeneg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Söderlund throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Good work by Ce as he checks the leg kick. Ce connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ce on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Sun Ce has been cut. We've been told by Söderlund's head coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Söderlund throws out a loose jab but Ce uses good head movement to avoid it. Ce takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Söderlund throws a low kick, looking for Ce's leg but Ce calmly moves out of range. Söderlund lands with a nice body kick. Söderlund lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sun Ce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Söderlund avoids a punch combination nicely.

Söderlund displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ce throws out the jab. Ce closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Söderlund quickly recovers to half guard. Söderlund tries to get to full guard but Ce has control of the leg. Söderlund kicks off Ce and gets to his feet. Söderlund misses with a shot to the body and Ce counters with a three punch combo that has Söderlund backing up. Söderlund nods at Ce to acknowledge the strikes. Söderlund throws a low kick, looking for Ce's leg but Ce calmly moves out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ce tries to close the distance and clinch but Söderlund swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Söderlund moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ce keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
