Griffin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Griffin somewhat.
Stone feints and then cracks Griffin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griffin down.

Stone's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Griffin is holding on here and Stone must be using up a lot of energy. Griffin has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Stone gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Umalatov comes to the cage accompanied by Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Basten Sodergren.
