The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carver clinches with his opponent.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Carver.
It looks like Ragnar Sigurdsson has been cut. Carver throws a punch but it's blocked by Sigurdsson. Sigurdsson trying to land knees to the body.
Carver looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Carver comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Sigurdsson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Carver avoids a wild elbow strike from Sigurdsson. Sigurdsson tries to pull guard but Carver holds him up against the cage and eventually Sigurdsson drops back down to his feet.

Ragnar Sigurdsson's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carver misses with the head strike.
Carver lands a good knee to the midsection. Sigurdsson won't want to take too many of those.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Truck throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Swick stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Truck is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Swick.
It looks like Corey Truck has been cut. Truck closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Truck just misses with a punch to the body.
Swick closes the distance and lands a one-two. Truck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Swick but Swick pushes him off and we're back to square one. Truck swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Swick holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Truck drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Swick gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Swick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Some bone on bone action there as Swick checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Swick throws a big counter combination but Truck scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Truck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Swick.
Swick is looking for a counter combo. Truck misses with a left hand and Truck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Truck swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Swick closes the distance and clinches. Truck blocks an elbow strike. Truck doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Truck tries to score a body lock takedown but Swick shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jon Swick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Truck. Swick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swick moves into range and clinches up with Truck. Swick tries to land knees in the clinch but Truck avoids the damage to the body. Swick blocks a body shot from Truck. Swick stalling.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Truck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Swick but Swick pushes him off and we're back to square one. Truck misses with a takedown attempt - Swick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Swick scores with a nice strike. Truck throws a lazy body kick and Truck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Truck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Swick.

Swick is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Truck missing with a left hand there. Swick was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Truck misses with a body shot.
Truck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swick moves away. Truck drops his hands momentarily and Swick takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Truck fails with a takedown attempt. Truck with a poor takedown and Swick counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Swick moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Swick thumps Truck with a low kick. Jon Swick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swick listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Truck misses with an uppercut. Swick delivers a nice body kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Truck misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slapping body kick lands there for Swick. Truck looks winded! Truck tries to clinch up but Swick circles away and keeps his distance. Swick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Truck swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Swick to counter with a crisp jab. Swick misses with a double jab.
Truck with the counter takedown but Swick avoids it easily. Truck dodges the punch combination from Swick.

Swick throws out a powerful jab. Truck takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jon Swick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Truck with a poor takedown and Swick counters with a solid body kick. Truck misses with a left hand and Swick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Swick slaps away a takedown attempt from Truck, before circling back to the center of the mat. Corey Truck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Truck on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Swick. Swick obviously looking to wear him down.

Truck is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Swick rather than just go for the knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Truck takes one to the side of the head.

Truck shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Swick makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Jon Swick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Truck. Truck is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swick leaves Truck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. It looked like Swick was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Truck. Truck doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Truck throws a leg kick and Swick counters with a three punch combo that has Truck backing up. Truck nods at Swick to acknowledge the strikes.
Truck is rocked! Swick lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Swick pushes Truck up against the cage in a clinch. Swick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Truck darts in looking for a takedown but Swick gets double underhooks and turns Truck into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Truck loads up on a big right hand but Swick slips the punch. Swick scores with a jab. Swick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Swick moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Swick. Swick breaks the clinch.

Truck is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Swick pulls him back up using the underhooks. Swick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Truck throws a leg kick that misses. Swick wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Truck throws a wild hook but Swick just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Truck gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Swick raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Swick! Jon Swick made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Yeah, I trained hard for this fight. Glad to get the win. Keeping on keeping on! '.

He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jay was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jay wants to control but Wan Soo is keeping him busy. Jay is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wan Soo's shoulder. That is not cool. Wan Soo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Wan Soo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jay is looking to take a break and control but Wan Soo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jay wants to control but Wan Soo is keeping him busy. Wan Soo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wan Soo tries to get out of the position. The ground and pound from Jay seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wan Soo is looking for a sweep. Jay moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Wan Soo is not content to let Jay control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jay remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jay wants to control but Wan Soo is keeping him busy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benjamin throws a chopping leg kick but Erikson manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Erikson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A big left from Benjamin misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Benjamin. Benjamin throws a leg kick and Erikson counters with a nice uppercut. Erikson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Erikson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Benjamin on the side of the head. Erikson 's coach down at Die Trying Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Erikson 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Benjamin slips a jab and a cross from Erikson .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erikson checks a leg kick nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Benjamin is defended easily by Erikson .

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myres works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rob Myres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Myres looks to land a combination but Alonso avoids it well. Alonso tries to counter with a clinch but Myres shakes him off and moves away. Myres misses with an uppercut. Alonso saw that one coming. Myres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Myres connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alonso's hands. Alonso shoots in for a double leg but Myres sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Myres cracks Alonso with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Alonso misses with a hook. Myres was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Alonso is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Myres throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Alonso's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Myres dives in looking to finish as Alonso flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Myres's strikes! Myres is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Alonso's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Alonso was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stephens works Taktarov's body with a nice hook. We've been hearing reports that Taktarov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Taktarov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Oleg Taktarov has been cut. Stephens cracks Taktarov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Stephens lands a head shot. A shot to the liver by Stephens. Beautiful body shot. Stephens scores with a shot to the body.
Taktarov takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stephens moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Stephens fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stephens is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stephens lands with a hook. Stephens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Taktarov circles away quickly and effectively. Taktarov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stephens lands a right hook to the body.

Stephens changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Taktarov is breathing heavily. Stephens cracks Taktarov with an open hand slap. Stephens has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A nice inside leg kick there by Stephens. That's going to slow Taktarov down.

Taktarov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Taktarov takes a body punch but keeps moving. Craig Stephens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Taktarov needs to keep his hands up - Stephens had a free shot at his head there.
