The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bethel shoots for a takedown but Leo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Leo feints the counter takedown.

Leo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Leo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bethel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Leo but great work by Bethel.

Bethel decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Leo throws a leg kick but Bethel sees it coming and checks it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bethel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Leo! But no joy.
Leo wants to land a leg kick but Bethel is out of range.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Leo can do anything to dispel that myth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

LobaLoba has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Conor has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
LobaLoba tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conor just stands there and leans against the cage.
Conor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. LobaLoba is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

mu really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Christ.
