The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a powerful right kick. For tried to block low but the kick was high! For was taken right off of his feet! Jackson jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Darrow Jackson! A very excited looking Darrow Jackson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamson gets a double leg takedown into Golden's guard. Golden seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Golden wants to improve his position but instead Adamson has moved into half guard.
Golden is defending against the submission attempts here by Adamson.
Golden wants to control but Adamson is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adamson prevents Golden from improving his position. Golden is working hard here to advance position. Golden works his way to full guard. Good work.

It looks like Raphael Adamson has been cut. Golden throws a sloppy head kick and Adamson moves out of range easily. Golden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Adamson gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adamson is working for a kimura but Golden is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Golden is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Adamson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Adamson's back! Golden controls the position. Golden struggling to keep hold of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Golden has Adamson's back but decides to stand back up... Obviously he fancies his chances in the standup department! Golden throws a leg kick that misses. A combination from Golden does no damage. Adamson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Golden throws a series of punches but Adamson avoids them all with ease. Adamson tries for a takedown but Golden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Trey Golden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raphael Adamson. A jab lands there for Golden. Golden throws a wild body kick that Adamson sees coming a mile off. Adamson is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Adamson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Adamson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Golden is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Adamson off and has taken his back! What's going on here? Golden has decided to give up on the ground game despite having his opponent's back!
Adamson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Golden pinned against the cage. Golden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick misses from Golden. Golden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Golden does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Golden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Adamson can do to turn this around? Adamson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Golden is looking to improve his position.
Golden is controlling Adamson's trapped leg to prevent Adamson from advancing to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are battling for position here. Golden manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Adamson preventing the sweep.

Adamson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Golden throws out the jab. Adamson blocks a head kick by Golden.
Adamson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Golden. Golden looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Adamson shoots in for a double leg but Golden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Trey Golden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raphael Adamson. A head kick misses from Golden. Adamson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Golden works his way to full guard. Good work. Golden is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Not really close to a finish though. Adamson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adamson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Golden tries to buck Adamson off but Adamson is having none of it. Golden manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Golden wants to stand up but Adamson has a hold of him and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Adamson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adamson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Golden could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Adamson has cracked it and Golden is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Adamson!
