The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sanich tries to close the distance and clinch but Hill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Hill on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Sanich looking to score a takedown here. Hill is defending well but Sanich drives through and ends up in Hill's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanich is pushing down on Hill's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hill is fighting to maintain full guard but Sanich has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sanich works his foot free and advances to mount.

A combination from Mann does no damage.
Blue shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mann as he jumps to the side.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Blue shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blue showed some decent athleticism there.
Mann is trying to stand up here but Blue is controlling him well.

Connor Mcgregor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Aldo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Aldo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mcgregor.
It looked like Aldo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mcgregor.

Aldo has Mcgregor pressed against the cage, preventing Mcgregor from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mcgregor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aldo has him pressed against the cage.
Aldo tries to pull guard but Mcgregor holds him up against the cage and eventually Aldo drops back down to his feet.

Mcgregor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aldo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mcgregor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Aldo throws a hook but Mcgregor avoids it easily.

Mcgregor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcgregor lands in his opponent's guard.
Mcgregor controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Aldo wants to sweep but no luck.
Mcgregor is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgregor is continuing to stall.
Mcgregor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Aldo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcgregor is one step ahead there.
Mcgregor works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Aldo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcgregor is working away from the top position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, if Mcgregor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Aldo wants to improve his position but Mcgregor is controlling well.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
