The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kharitonov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kharitonov misses with a double jab.
Kharitonov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Steel.
It looks like Freddy Steel has been cut. Kharitonov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kharitonov moves into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Kharitonov fails to land. Steel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Some wild striking there from Steel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mc Steel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wednesday finds it's way round the side to connect with Mc Steel's head. Wednesday moves into the clinch. Wednesday is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mc Steel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wednesday keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mc Steel's efforts to push away. Mc Steel is trying to break the clinch but Wednesday is controlling him. Wednesday keeps control of Mc Steel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wednesday lands a shoulder strike. Mc Steel blocking some punches.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bob Backlund has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A momentary lapse in concentration from Backlund enables Goodbarrel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Backlund manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Scot Goodbarrel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Goodbarrel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Steel Penn. You can see the frustration on Torres's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres being controlled for a moment. We've been hearing good reports from Steel Penn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Torres stops Steel Penn from passing to mount. Torres is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Steel Penn's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Steel Penn! Ward working away. Ward is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jorma has escaped the position, nice work there. Ward wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jorma, who protects the arm well. Ward working the head with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jorma is trying to get back to half guard. Ward happy to just control the position for now. Ward wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jorma keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jorma struggling a bit here. Ward looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jorma tries to buck Ward off but Ward is having none of it. Ward working the strikes but Jorma uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jorma tries to roll over but Ward keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ward seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ward is working for a submission of some sort.

Ward passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Ward is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jorma has managed to free his arm - good work. Jorma wants to control but Ward passes into side.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ward in particular looking to stall. Ward is looking for a kimura but Jorma is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ward to get the leverage. Ward wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jorma keeps working. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ward is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ward preventing the sweep. Jorma bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ward's guard. Jorma working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Ward is controlling Jorma's posture. Ward is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jorma is looking to work some ground and pound but Ward has wrist control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jorma chips away with some ground and pound. Jorma wants to control from the top but Ward keeps moving. Jorma got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ward has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jorma has managed to get both his arms back between Ward's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ward throws a sloppy head kick and Jorma moves out of range easily. Rasva Jorma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ward uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jorma. Mr Ward is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jorma throws an overhand right that lands on Ward's shoulder, as Ward tries to avoid the shot. Ward tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jorma manages to circle out of the way. Jorma fails to land with a series of punches.
Jorma throws a leg kick but Ward checks it. Ward lands with a slapping head kick. Jorma throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Jorma throws the kick towards the body but Ward avoids it. Ward appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jorma fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ward. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ward tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ward avoids the body shot from Jorma.
Jorma cracks Ward with a good jab. Ward scores with a one two! Jorma had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jorma looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crunch! Jorma slams his shin into Ward's torso. Jorma misses with a looping right. An attempted straight right counter from Ward misses the target. Jorma is looking to chop away at Ward's legs. Ward moves away from the strike by Jorma. Ward throws a nice looking combination but Jorma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ward takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ward tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ward connects with a crisp jab. Jorma misses with a right hand and Ward counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ward. Ward stopping the sweep attempt from Jorma. Ward is pushing down on Jorma's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jorma is fighting to maintain full guard but Ward has managed to sneak the leg through. Jorma missing with punches from the bottom.

Ward is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jorma is just riding it out for now. Ward eventually gives up the hold. Ward works his way into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ward tries to move into full mount but can't pass Jorma's legs. Jorma looks to move to half guard but instead Ward has passed into mount! Damn! Ward is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jorma can do to turn this around? Ward looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mr Ward is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jorma wants to control but Ward is having none of it. Jorma wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. What can Jorma do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ward is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jorma has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Ward has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jorma taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Ward doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mr Ward! After the fight, Mr Ward was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
