Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Canthropus's choice of entrance music: Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine. Pithe Canthropus struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Pithe Canthropus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Henley's coach down at White Lotus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Henley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Henley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
East changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henley tries to avoid it but East manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henley to the ground. Henley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
East stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A less than humble Yasuhiro Akagi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
