We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uggla tries to push Hecker's head away but Hecker is holding on tight.

Uggla goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hecker is on top in guard.

Hecker lands a couple of elbows.
Hecker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Uggla's head.
Hecker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uggla swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hecker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Uggla looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hecker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Uggla wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hecker is now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hecker is looking to take a break and control but Uggla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hecker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Uggla is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hecker pulls his head out easily.
Uggla pushes Hecker off looking to stand but Hecker dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Uggla manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Uggla bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hecker's guard.

Hecker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Uggla stands and throws Hecker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hecker is looking to regain half guard here but Uggla keeps moving and retains side control.

Uggla tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Uggla throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hecker works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hecker is trying to get back to full guard.

A close round but Algot Uggla will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Uggla connects with a nice short shot to Hecker's temple.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remy LeBeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haji Muakbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muakbar has chosen That Punjabi Jay-Z song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBeau jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Despite the aggression on Muakbar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
LeBeau cracks Muakbar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Muakbar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Remy LeBeau has been cut.
Muakbar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
LeBeau misses with a body shot.
Muakbar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Muakbar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Muakbar walks into a left hand.
Muakbar misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LeBeau walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Muakbar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Good leg kick by LeBeau there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Muakbar lands with a shot to the body.

LeBeau cracks Muakbar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Muakbar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can LeBeau finish him?

LeBeau drops Muakbar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Muakbar looks back up at him and smiles so LeBeau waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Muakbar is rocked!

Muakbar seems to have recovered his senses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Muakbar. LeBeau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Muakbar stuns LeBeau with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

LeBeau lands a big right hand that sends Muakbar crashing to the mat! LeBeau stays standing though and waves Muakbar back to his feet!
LeBeau ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fight stays on the outside here - Muakbar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

LeBeau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Muakbar.
LeBeau lands with a thumping leg kick.
Muakbar tries to clinch there but LeBeau circles away.
Muakbar closes the distance but LeBeau moves to the side
enabling LeBeau to counter with a crisp jab.
LeBeau lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

and LeBeau counters with a crisp right that sends Muakbar to the canvas! LeBeau follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Haji Muakbar was interviewed post fight and said 'the roid rage just didn't kick in this time'.
