The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Micheli drives through and clinches with Gustavsson against the cage.

Micheli is trying to push Gustavsson away but Gustavsson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Micheli is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A left hand lands to the body for Gustavsson.

Micheli has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gustavsson after a bit of a struggle.

I was talking to Gustavsson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacquiao has chosen Never Say Never - Justin Bieber ft. Jaden Smith as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Williamson takes one to the chin there.
Pacquiao feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Williamson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pacquiao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williamson somewhat.
Williamson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pacquiao as he jumps to the side.
A left and a right from Pacquiao both land. Nice combination.

Williamson is rocked!
Williamson darts in looking for a takedown but Pacquiao gets double underhooks and turns Williamson into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Williamson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pacquiao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williamson.
Williamson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pacquiao counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Williamson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pacquiao connects with a nice cross there... Williamson is looking wobbly and Pacquiao recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Williamson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Pacquiao jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Manny Pacquiao!
Manny Pacquiao spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Thomas dropped down on all fours and is barking in Jacobi's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Mozart pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lance taps out and this one is all over!
