The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalgratas misses with a kick to the body.
Jalgratas misses with a hook. Faldo ducked under it nicely. Jalgratas throws a jab but it's blocked by Faldo. Jalgratas blocks a leg kick. Faldo wants to slow Jalgratas down by chopping away at his legs. Jalgratas connects with a looping right hand.
Faldo looks to land a right hand but Jalgratas moved out of range. Jalgratas tries to land a front kick but Faldo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Faldo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jalgratas is able to avoid easily. A quick step to the side and Jalgratas tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Faldo connects with a leg kick. Faldo lands on the inside with an uppercut. I was talking to Jalgratas's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Jalgratas comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Nick Faldo has been cut. Faldo tries to throw a body punch but Jalgratas avoids it by throwing Faldo back against the cage. Jalgratas tries a body shot but Faldo blocks it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jalgratas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jalgratas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Faldo back to the cage. Jalgratas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jalgratas goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jalgratas takes a swing at Faldo's ribcage but misses. Jalgratas darts in looking for a takedown but Faldo gets double underhooks and turns Jalgratas into the cage. Jalgratas trying to control the position from guard on top but Faldo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Faldo is controlling Jalgratas's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jalgratas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jalgratas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Faldo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jalgratas's calf. Jalgratas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jalgratas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faldo as he avoids it easily. Nick Faldo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jalgratas connects with a body shot that sends Faldo's belly button to the back.
And that's the end of the fight! Jaan Jalgratas showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jalgratas has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tucker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Tall. Tucker misses with a straight right. Tucker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Tall manages to avoid it. The Tall slips under a jab from Tucker. Tucker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The Tall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. John Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Tall lands with a nice combination. Tucker backs away looking to recover. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the body from Tucker misses and The Tall counters with a straight right hand.
Tucker is rocked! The Tall fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Tucker to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Tucker looks to clinch but The Tall throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Tucker taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Munoz does no damage. Munoz tries to land a leg kick but Sundberg saw it coming and moves away.
Sundberg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Munoz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Munoz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sundberg counters with a single leg into guard. Munoz didn't expect that. Sundberg won't allow Munoz to get back to his feet. Munoz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sundberg is stalling in the full guard. Munoz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sundberg makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sundberg throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sundberg passes into half guard.

That sent Kuzmenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Heidegger's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kuzmenko under the eye. Heidegger with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kuzmenko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kuzmenko misses with a straight right. Kuzmenko fails to land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! Puck Heidegger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Heidegger winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ee throws a nice outside leg kick. Mark Riccuito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ee slips a jab and a cross from Riccuito.
Ee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Riccuito bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Ee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Riccuito. Riccuito seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Riccuito closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Riccuito misses with an elbow over the top. Ee has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Riccuito lands with a short head shot on the inside. Riccuito lands a left hand.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Riccuito! Mark Riccuito retains his heavyweight title! A very excited looking Mark Riccuito rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
