Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amare Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Deep told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Great shoots for a double leg takedown but Griggs sprawls well. He's pushed Great's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Griggs throws a right and a left that both miss.
Great doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Great shoots in looking for a takedown. Griggs tries to sprawl out of it but Great keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griggs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Carv Great seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Great walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Griggs throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Great stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Griggs cracks Great on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Great falls backwards against the cage. Griggs follows up with more strikes that drop Great to his knees. Griggs keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Great! This one is all over!
