The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heineken misses with a takedown and Zlatonovic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Zlatonovic has Heineken up against the cage in a clinch.
Heineken is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Zlatonovic is pushing Heineken up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menger shoots in but no luck this time. Menger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Menger has a takedown stuffed. Dickskin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Top Team in the buildup to the fight. Menger tries for a takedown but Dickskin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Snake Dickskin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Menger. No luck with that takedown attempt from Menger. Dickskin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dickskin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Menger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Menger there as he acknowledges the shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dickskin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dickskin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Menger to stand back up! Dickskin drops Menger with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dickskin follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delode shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Delode showed some decent athleticism there. Leon manages to get to full guard.
Delode really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Leon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Leon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Delode got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Delode has managed to get both his arms back between Leon's legs - danger averted. Delode controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Delode trying to control but Leon is working from the bottom. Leon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Delode manages to get himself to full guard.

Leon goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Delode rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Leon's guard! Nice work there by Delode! Delode will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Leon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Leon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Delode is trying to control the position but Leon postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leon with a flurry of punches that miss. Delode keeping moving, preventing Leon from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Delode knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leon on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Leon postures up in Delode's guard and throws a big left but Delode blocks it. Leon stands up over Delode, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leon accidentally thumps the mat.
