The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Mythos moves into range and clinches up with Marttinen. Mythos turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Marttinen (0) vs (4) Mythos Mythos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mythos not allowing Marttinen to control his hands. Mythos has good solid back control here. Marttinen is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Heavy Metal, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Eremeev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Diego clinches up against the cage. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts. Eremeev is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Diego is defending well though. Eremeev let's go of the attempt for now. Eremeev is not going to allow Diego to sit and survive in this position. Diego is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Eremeev off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diego turns into Eremeev and is now in his guard.
