The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkis scores with a shot to the body.
Jenkis tries to bum rush Siqueira with a series of wild strikes but Siqueira uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jenkis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jenkis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jenkis avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Donk. Jenkis catches Siqueira right on the button with a cross. Jenkis ducks under a wild hook from Siqueira. A combination from Jenkis does no damage. Siqueira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jenkis manages to avoid it. Jenkis throws a right and a left that Siqueira avoids nicely. Siqueira misses with a double jab.
Siqueira shoots in for a double leg but Jenkis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Siqueira moves into the clinch successfully.
Jenkis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jenkis goes for a takedown attempt but Siqueira pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jenkis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Siqueira circles away quickly and effectively.

Siqueira feints and as Jenkis raises his hands in defense, Siqueira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Siqueira scoring with some ground and pound. Siqueira trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Siqueira pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jenkis trying to control the action but Siqueira is working from the bottom. Jenkis wants to free his trapped foot but Siqueira is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jenkis decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Siqueira fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jenkis steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Siqueira is out on his feet! Jenkis sets himself and nearly takes Siqueira's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! datass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. datass has control of Band's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Band regains control of the situation pretty easily.
datass postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Band looks a forlorn figure.
Band tries to get back to half guard but can't. datass landing shots from mount.
It looks like Bobi Band has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Band tries to reverse the position but datass maintains control. datass has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Band is working hard here to advance position. datass lands with some strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Johnson misses. Sorrentino takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sorrentino is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Johnson.

Sorrentino closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sorrentino moves out of range as Johnson strikes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sorrentino. Johnson throws a leg kick but Sorrentino moved away. No luck for Sorrentino with that takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Sorrentino or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Sorrentino. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sorrentino slips a straight right by Johnson. Joey Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sorrentino checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Johnson throws a leg kick but Sorrentino sees it coming and checks it nicely. Johnson throws a low kick, looking for Sorrentino's leg but Sorrentino calmly moves out of range. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Johnson tries to clinch but Sorrentino moves out of range. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sorrentino. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Sorrentino drives through with a takedown into guard. Sorrentino is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson throwing strikes from guard but Sorrentino blocks nicely. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sorrentino is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Johnson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Johnson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson scoring with punches and elbows. Sorrentino tries to buck Johnson off but Johnson is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson in side control lands a decent elbow. Sorrentino is looking for a sweep. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Johnson grinds an elbow into Sorrentino's temple. Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sorrentino to see if he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sorrentino is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.

Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson! Johnson working the ground and pound. Johnson grinds an elbow into Sorrentino's temple. Sorrentino has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johnson defend it? Sorrentino steps over the head and cranks it - Johnson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sorrentino!

and Bros counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bros scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Strong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bros ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bros scores with a nice strike. Bros looks to score with a jab to the body but Strong is just out of range. A nice combination there by Strong.
A shot to the body from Strong misses and Bros counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bros lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bros rushes Strong with punches - Strong moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Strong goes down! Bros follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krow fails with a takedown attempt. Reiplinger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krow on the side of the head. Reiplinger misses with an uppercut. A punch combination from Reiplinger misses. Reiplinger lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rap Reiplinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reiplinger throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reiplinger throws the kick towards the body but Krow avoids it. Krow has a takedown stuffed. A swing and a miss from Reiplinger. Krow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mavic Krow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Reiplinger. Krow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Krow is breathing heavily.

Reiplinger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Krow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reiplinger's guard. Reiplinger has his hands on Krow's head, controlling the position. Krow trying to control but Reiplinger is working from the bottom. Reiplinger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Krow trying to control the position from guard on top but Reiplinger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Krow postures up in Reiplinger's guard and throws a big left but Reiplinger blocks it. Reiplinger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krow's guard. Krow keeping moving, preventing Reiplinger from controlling successfully. Reiplinger throwing strikes but missing. Krow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reiplinger is aware though and is defending well. Reiplinger throwing strikes but missing. Reiplinger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krow works some decent striking defense from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Reiplinger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reiplinger's half guard. Reiplinger is pressing down on Krow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Reiplinger has his hands on Krow's head, controlling the position. Reiplinger manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ford lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Svensson circles away quickly and effectively. Ryan Ford is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Svensson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ford was well out of range. Poor timing from Svensson.
