The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalac turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zalac scores with a punch to the head.
Mill with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zalac to score with a decent uppercut.
Zalac lunges at Mill with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mill's hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mill shoots in for a double leg but Zalac sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zalac digs a good hook to Mill's body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Zalac. That's going to slow Mill down.
Zalac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zalac wants it to stay on the feet.

Mill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Zalac is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at MM eh Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Mill is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Zalac has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Zalac!
Mill wants to sweep but no luck.

Mill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zalac's guard.

Mill is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zalac is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zalac has escaped and now he's on top!

Zalac is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Mill is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zalac defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pauley comes to the cage accompanied by Steve Earle . Lawson has chosen Wait and Bleed by Slipknot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. A combination from Pauley does no damage.
Lawson's coach down at mickeyharts the greatest was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lawson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pauley takes a swing at Lawson's ribcage but misses.
Pauley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pauley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pauley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lawson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
