Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Goldberg!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan tries to score with a low kick but Goldberg moves his leg out of the way.
Goldberg shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well.

Goldberg gets the takedown into side control.
Morgan is looking to reverse the position.
Goldberg is trying to ground and pound but Morgan uses the momentary lack of control by Goldberg to regain half guard.
Morgan pushes Goldberg off looking to stand but Goldberg dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan trying to control from the bottom.
Goldberg lands with a punch from half guard.
Morgan controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Goldberg winds up and cracks Morgan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Morgan is trying to get back to full guard.
Goldberg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morgan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Goldberg throwing shots but Morgan is blocking nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Morgan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Goldberg is fighting to break Morgan's control of his arms but Morgan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Morgan wants to sweep but no luck.
Goldberg landing some decent shots from guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morgan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Goldberg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Goldberg dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Morgan throws a jab but it's blocked by Goldberg.
Morgan stuffs the takedown attempt from Goldberg. Goldberg gets slowly back to his feet.
Goldberg is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morgan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goldberg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morgan's waist but Morgan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goldberg off to one side.
Scott Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Goldberg.

A solid body kick from Morgan.
Goldberg is breathing heavily.

Goldberg ducks straight into an uppercut from Morgan and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Goldberg manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgan stands up over Goldberg, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Morgan stands and steps away. Goldberg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Goldberg drops his hands momentarily. Morgan doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Goldberg staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Goldberg doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
