The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios cracks Mugabi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like John Mugabi has been cut. Mugabi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Rios on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mugabi throws a hook but Rios blocks it. Mugabi blocks a jab. Mugabi scores with a nice head shot. Rios throws a right hand that misses
and Mugabi counters with a nice body shot. Mugabi throws a leg kick that misses. Rios connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mugabi lands the left hand. Rios misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mugabi.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rios lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mugabi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mugabi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Rios throws a leg kick enabling Mugabi to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rios misses with a double jab.

Rios is rocked! John Mugabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Rios, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rios throws a hook to the side of Mugabi's head but Mugabi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rios avoids a punch combination nicely.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mancini seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chernokov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riddle uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Del Bosque. Riddle fires out a quick counter leg kick but Del Bosque just manages to avoid it. Del Bosque tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Riddle throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Riddle throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Del Bosque looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
