Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raja Ohri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonidas Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohri comes to the cage accompanied by The Next Episode. Raja Ohri had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Leonidas Sparta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Brown had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Houston Nutt had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Gotovina throws a solid leg kick but Tudekiks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gotovina.

Gotovina shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tudekiks napping and manages to drive through into side control!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gotovina has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tudekiks throws out a leg kick but Gotovina moves out of range and Tudekiks only half commits.
Gotovina goes for a double leg but Tudekiks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tudekiks continues to drive forward.

Gotovina is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tudekiks is defending well.
Suleijma Tudekiks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ante Gotovina.
Gotovina changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tudekiks fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Gotovina fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tudekiks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tudekiks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gotovina can pounce on him.

Tudekiks tries to land a knee to the head but Gotovina blocks with his arms.

Tudekiks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gotovina shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tudekiks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gotovina is working Tudekiks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Tudekiks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tudekiks wants to stand and escape but Gotovina is having none of it.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gotovina's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Tudekiks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gotovina gets to his feet and stands over Tudekiks, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tudekiks felt that one! Gotovina unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tudekiks from any more punishment!

Colombu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Colombu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Colombu lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dhillon quite badly. Dhillon pulls Colombu in close trying to recover. Colombu postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dhillon on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dhillon doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Maciel shoots for a takedown but Springfield saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Springfield throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Maciel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Springfield cracks Maciel with a right hand to the side of the head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Springfield.
Maciel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
As Maciel backs away, Springfield returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Springfield lands a head kick. Maciel smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Maciel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Springfield swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maciel now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Maciel moves away from the strike by Springfield.
Maciel changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Springfield stuffs the takedown.
Springfield misses with the body kick

and Maciel counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Springfield seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Maciel throws a sloppy strike and Springfield has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Maciel is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Springfield!
