The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Platje. No joy for Polyanskiy on that attempt. Platje wants to clinch. Polyanskiy throws a head kick that misses. Polyanskiy misses with a straight left. Polyanskiy misses the jab. Platje is looking to counter the offense by Polyanskiy and move into the clinch. Polyanskiy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Polyanskiy with a lazy takedown attempt and Platje holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Platje lands a nice elbow. Platje throws an elbow but it misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Polyanskiy's face as he tries to break the clinch. Platje lands an elbow that stopped Polyanskiy in his tracks for a moment.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Logan! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan throws a right hand that misses
and Ruttenum counters with a three punch combo that has Logan backing up. Logan nods at Ruttenum to acknowledge the strikes. Ruttenum drops his hands momentarily and Logan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Logan thows a left - swing and a miss! Ruttenum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Logan. A combination from Ruttenum does no damage. Logan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ruttenum defends well and Logan ends up having to push Ruttenum into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Logan, as that shot connected.
Logan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruttenum manages to avoid it. Ruttenum tries to clinch up. Ruttenum connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ruttenum digs a good body shot into Logan's ribs. Logan misses with a right hand and Logan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jimmy Logan has been cut. Logan connects with a crisp jab. Logan shoots and misses and Ruttenum counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jimmy Logan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Logan thows a left - swing and a miss! A jab from Logan does it's job there. Logan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Ruttenum cracks Logan with an open hand slap. Ruttenum has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruttenum breaks the clinch.
Logan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A little jabbing left from Logan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ruttenum throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Logan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ruttenum tries to clinch up but Logan circles away and keeps his distance. Ruttenum moves away from the strike by Logan. Ruttenum swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Logan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cody Ruttenum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Logan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Logan misses the shot to the body. Ruttenum misses with a wild combination.
Logan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ruttenum counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Logan thinking. Ruttenum misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Logan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ruttenum wants to clinch up but Logan keeps it at a distance. Logan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Logan with a nice cross. Logan throws a poor cross that misses
and Ruttenum counters with a series of strikes. Logan will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruttenum throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Logan crashing down! Logan tries to stagger back to his feet but Ruttenum just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Logan asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cody Ruttenum! Cody Ruttenum bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aticqouche connects with a jab.
It looks like George Stobbart has been cut. Stobbart misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Aticqouche gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stobbart to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aticqouche avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Aticqouche will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stobbart loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stobbart engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stobbart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stobbart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aticqouche works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stobbart drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Stobbart as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Aticqouche screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Stobbart! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jensen misses the shot to the body. Jensen scores with a nice strike. Jensen misses with a looping right. Vovchanchyn needs to keep his hands up - Jensen had a free shot at his head there. Jensen staying out of range there. Jensen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jensen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jensen is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Vovchanchyn connects with a jab. Jensen tries to clinch up but Vovchanchyn circles away and keeps his distance. Vovchanchyn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jensen. Jensen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vovchanchyn counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Carl Jensen has been cut. Jensen fails in his attempt to clinch. Vovchanchyn swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Nice cross by Vovchanchyn. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vovchanchyn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jensen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vovchanchyn finds it's way round the side to connect with Jensen's head. Vovchanchyn lands a big right hand that sends Jensen crashing to the mat! Vovchanchyn stays standing though and waves Jensen back to his feet!
Jensen is rocked! Jensen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Vovchanchyn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jensen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jensen clinches with his opponent.
Jensen scores with a hook to the body. Jensen throws a punch but it's blocked by Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jensen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight stays on the outside here - Jensen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jensen throws a hook but Vovchanchyn avoids it easily. Vovchanchyn misses with a wild body shot. Jensen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn moves forwards but Jensen connects with a nice, crisp jab. Vovchanchyn throws a looping overhand right but Jensen ducks down to avoid it. Vovchanchyn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jensen wants to clinch. Vovchanchyn is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Nice cross by Vovchanchyn. Jensen is looking to clinch. Jensen moves in looking to clinch but Vovchanchyn pushes him off. Jensen thuds his right hand into Vovchanchyn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Vovchanchyn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Vovchanchyn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jensen. Jensen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jensen cracks Vovchanchyn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vovchanchyn fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jensen slips a straight right by Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jensen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jensen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Vovchanchyn moves out of range of the strikes. Vovchanchyn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vovchanchyn throws a jab but it's blocked by Jensen. Vovchanchyn misses with a straight left. Vovchanchyn looks to land a left hand but Jensen moved out of range nicely. Jensen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jensen on the side of the head. Jensen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vovchanchyn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Vovchanchyn cracks Jensen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jensen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vovchanchyn finish him?
Jensen is still on wobbly legs! Can Vovchanchyn finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jensen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jensen seems to have recovered his senses. Vovchanchyn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jensen moves away. A swing and a miss from Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Jensen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belcher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Faup tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Belcher is in Faup's guard. Belcher might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Faup looking to control.
Faup is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Belcher defends well. Belcher wants to pass the guard but Faup is keeping the position. Belcher advances to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Faup is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Faup is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belcher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belcher's back! Belcher tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Faup can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Belcher is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belcher tries to hold on but Faup postures up. Belcher is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Belcher holds on for dear life, controlling Faup's posture momentarily. Belcher tries to get back to half guard but can't. Faup wants to control the pace but Belcher is squirming around nicely. Belcher regains half guard. Faup trying to mount his opponent but Belcher defends it. Belcher gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belcher has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Faup controlling from the top position. Belcher is controlling Faup's posture. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Belcher's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Belcher tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Faup drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Belcher defends it well. Faup lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Faup. Faup throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Belcher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Faup sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belcher somewhat. Belcher avoids the head kick by Faup.
Faup tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Belcher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Faup fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Belcher tries to keep at a distance but Faup has taken the fight into the clinch. Belcher tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Belcher throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Faup was covering up waiting for the punch and Belcher finishes the takedown easily into guard. Belcher trying to control but Faup is working from the bottom. Faup wants to stand up but Belcher is controlling him. Belcher wants to pass the guard but Faup is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belcher throwing strikes from guard but Faup blocks nicely. Belcher slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Faup avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Faup utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Belcher is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Peter Faup is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Faup lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Nice takedown defense from Faup. No joy for Belcher on that attempt. Sloppy strikes from Faup. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belcher fails with a takedown attempt. Belcher shoots in looking for a takedown. Faup tries to sprawl out of it but Belcher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faup manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Belcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belcher moves out of range of the body kick from Faup.
Faup tries to bum rush Belcher with a series of wild strikes but Belcher uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Belcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Belcher is working for a kimura but Faup is defending it quite comfortably.
Faup is looking to escape. Gregory Belcher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Belcher maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Faup could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Belcher has cracked it and Faup is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Belcher!
